Seeing today’s magical wedding in the Redwoods warms our hearts. Maggie + Tom are lovers of something everlasting, and so do we! They opted for a neutral color palette with heaps of undying beauty of dried florals + foliage and Lovely Time with the help of Michelle Lywood Loves Blooms just nailed it. Check out these beautiful images from VID Studio below.
From the planner, Tammy of Lovely Time:
Maggie and Tom was a couple that absolutely trusted in our team to create a beautiful wedding look for them. Maggie herself was a bride that preferred neutral colors and wanted a magical elegance to her wedding day. The bride herself was also very artistic, willing to take on a lot of DIY projects on her own such as creating the dried floral elements on the small details and creating her own sign in backdrop element.
When our design team came up with the proposal of a color scheme of neutral toned and dried floral elements, the couple loved the idea of how dried florals could be preserved and eternal. This idea grew with adding multiple elements of transparent acrylics, textures on neutral shades, and dried florals that accentuated the overall design.
These neutral elements contrasted well with Nestldown‘s soaring redwood trees which created a strong green backdrop for the neutral elements to stand out. Nestledown has that method of creating a magical atmosphere that transported the guests into a beautiful wedding experience.
From the Bride:
Visiting the dream venue, Nestledown, we’d immediately picked it for our wedding after admiring pictures of the redwood forest for weeks. Selecting an early October date for our wedding, we wanted to embrace the idea of having an autumn wedding, feeling as though we could use more unique elements in our wedding instead of depending on fresh florals. Dried florals and foliage have been popular and we loved how they can last forever yet are still beautiful enough to rival their hydrated counterparts. Our planner from Lovely Time Weddings & Events were superb in creating the whole design of the wedding. I’d let the team know that I’d preferred a cleaner, neutral color palette and wanted many elements of dried florals and the design team ran with the idea, coming up with spectacular ideas for the ceremony backdrop to the dessert display.
It was a wonderful party of stunning details and good company. I loved spending the day with my dearest friends and my husband was giddy and excited the whole time as well. The most show-stopping aspect of the wedding was the dessert display. From the textured backdrop that brought the cake to center stage. To the desserts that all the guest had a chance to enjoy. We’re so thankful for the Lovely Time Team for making our wedding planning process absolutely stress-free and amazing.
We love how they incorporated the dried florals and foliage to almost everything in this romantic fete. Also, check out this chic industrial wedding inspo with a dried foliage cloud.
