I adore the gorgeous portraits, with the champagne pop moment and champagne tower shots looking really fun. Then there was the elegant stationery, super stylish outfits and flawless bridal beauty. Stunning.
Pink & Orange Wedding Ideas
The vision for this shoot was modern, colourful and fun whilst remaining elegant and complementary to the barn setting. (You don’t have to stick to neutrals to be elegant!) The Granary Barn is a gorgeous flint barn draped in fairy lights.
We wanted the colour palette to be warm, fresh and summery, which is why we chose a pink and orange theme. We included geometric influences throughout to give a contemporary feel, whilst remaining true to the rustic nature of the venue.
We began with the tablescape, the pink and orange colour palette was enhanced by the beautiful florals, golden accents and textured tablescape. It was a stunning combination of colour and texture, with glowy gold highlights emphasised by the fairy lights.
We also had gorgeous stationery and signage provided by Love Flora Design Studio, which looked stunning and worked seamlessly within the tablescape. We had some geometric influences coming through from the signage and placemats, which were subtle but tied everything together wonderfully.
Emma was styled in a half up, half down do with natural peachy make-up, which was the perfect soft glam look. It really matched the relaxed vibe we were going for with the shoot.
The first dress was a bit more glitzy and worked so well for our fun outdoor portraits including the champagne tower, before changing into the beautiful flowy gown for the ceremony.
The portraits of Emma and Alfie themselves are representative of their sweet, affectionate and fun nature, and are a true reflection of how they are as a married couple. I always aim to reflect how couples’ personalities are in their photos, and it was so easy with these guys.
They were the perfect choice for this shoot, and really embodied the vibe we were after!
We styled a small elopement-style ceremony set up, a candle-lit and romantic set up that worked beautifully with the dreamy gown (Raquel – Dreams by Savin). We kept the geometric theme going with the arched backdrops to match the vision of the shoot. I think it worked perfectly. Simple but beautiful.
Katy provided us with a gorgeous pink retro-themed cake which we were able to style too. We wanted to style the cake and show how beautifully they can be presented on your wedding day. This cake was bright, colourful and fun and just exactly what we wanted. Plus it tasted amazing!
Overall, the vibe of the day was relaxed and enjoyable. It’s exactly how I’d want my own wedding to be – contemporary, detail-oriented, lots of florals, chilled and fun!
All of the suppliers were incredible, they were so involved and truly understood the look we were going for with this shoot – it was such a great collaboration!
Does it get any more stylish!? Wow!
