Before Delivery: Restroom Trailer Access and Setup Checklist

By The Solar Loo Team · October 3, 2026

Prepare your venue for a Solar Loo restroom trailer with a checklist for access, level placement, utilities, guest routes and pickup.

1. Share the full approach

Send photos of the access road or driveway, gates, turns and the proposed placement area. Flag overhead obstacles and any restricted vehicle-entry times. A space that fits the trailer may still be difficult to reach with the delivery vehicle.

2. Confirm the placement footprint

Use a flat, level location and confirm the exact trailer dimensions with the team. Supplied Solar Loo setup information calls for three feet of clearance opposite the entrance for relevant models; that is not the full delivery or operating footprint. Ask about the space required for access, steps and servicing.

3. Review the guest route

Keep the route easy to find and discuss lighting, surface conditions and access needs with your venue. Tell the team early if guests require step-free access. Do not assume a pictured trailer provides an accessible solution.

4. Confirm utilities for the actual model

Tell us whether power and water are available and where the connections are relative to placement. Ask for the chosen trailer’s electrical requirements, particularly for heating or cooling. Do not arrange electrical connections based on a generic rating or an unconfirmed specification.

5. Assign event-day responsibilities

Agree who meets the delivery driver, checks supplies and contacts the provider if anything needs attention. Discuss tank capacity and servicing for long or multi-day events. Keep the agreed equipment access clear throughout the rental.

6. Plan pickup before the event ends

Confirm when the venue must be clear and whether gates or access restrictions change after hours. Coordinate pickup with other suppliers so vehicles, furniture and teardown work do not block the trailer’s route.
