Burgundy Green Christmas Wedding Ideas
When is the best time to get married? Christmas of course! Rich colours, twinkly lights and the feeling of love all around. We created this concept to show couples what a truly magical festive wedding could look like.
Here’s what our suppliers have to say about their own creations for the shoot…
Flowers
I wanted to create a Christmas ‘tree’ design but with a difference. The moon gate arch was converted to look like a crescent moon, framing our couple in a magical setting, almost like a tree bending over with the weight of glittering snow.
I focused on deep reds, golds and textural berries and foliage for the bride’s bouquet, created into a modern, yet natural style, finished with lush silk and velvet ribbons.
Dress
We love a bit of Christmas magic and sparkle. So we created gowns that fit perfectly into a Christmas fairytale with small festive hints; gorgeous satins with a trendy oversized bow, sparkles galore with sequins and delicate embroideries.
And, of course, no fairytale would be complete without dreamy princess ball gown shapes! Don’t you just love the magic of the festivities?
Makeup
I created my signature ‘Amber Glow’ to enhance all the magicalness around Christmas! Glowing fresh skin, eye-popping eyes and of course a festive lip which we all can’t resist!
When is the best time to get married? It has and always will be Christmas. It’s the most magical time of the year so why not plan your magical wedding day around the most magical time of the year?
Cake
Many homes at Christmas have fabulous table centerpieces, so I created this cake to be the Christmas wedding centerpiece. A pure white wedding cake which contrasts with the floral crown it sits within.
Hair
I wanted to create two unique hair styles for our shoot.
The first look was a beautiful half up half down which showcased Christmas glamour and the second being a fabulous party pony! A hairstyle perfect for dancing the night away.
Oh so romantic. I hope you are feeling fully festive now!
