Love, laughter, and a vineyard that turned into a dance floor! The Napa Valley just witnessed the most EPIC Dance Party Wedding of the century, and we’re still trying to catch our breath! Picture perfect sunsets, vineyard vibes, and moves that put ‘Dancing with the Stars’ to shame. It wasn’t your typical wedding; it unfolded as an epic dance-off, meticulously orchestrated by the talented team at Curated by Grace and White, brought to life with the exquisite floral arrangements by The Blonde Bouquet , and immortalized by the lens of Ash Baumgartner.
Marissa Tries. While she’s essentially known as “Marissa Tries” around the office where she samples various activities for their company’s social media channels, including but not limited to goat yoga, surf lessons, basketball camp, paddleboard yoga, water aerobics, and more, there’s one thing she doesn’t have to try at doing and being – the life of the party. Infectious laughter. Killer dance moves. And a deep love for her closest people. And in true Marissa fashion, that’s exactly what her Silverado Resort wedding, planned and designed by Curated by Grace and White, was.
Amidst the grove of tall trees in between Silverado’s iconic 36 hole championship golf course, Marissa and Scott walked down the aisle to become husband and wife, but not before their best friend presumed his role as “flower man” and started the party with a good laugh. Their other dear friend officiating began the ceremony welcoming everyone to another episode of “Marissa Tries” and sourced a crowd laugh. But admits the giggles and the smiles, came real authentic love in between a stunning floral ground arch by The Blonde Bouquet.
After the glass was smashed and the knot officially tied, Marissa and Scott welcomed guests to cocktail hour with a popcorn treat and a fresh margarita or aperol spritz before entering Silverado’s intimate al fresco dining patio. Lined with black taper candles, an abundance of floral accents, and a black and white dance floor – the bride and groom asked everyone to get the party started with them immediately – a tequila shot for each and every guest. After a collection of heartfelt toasts, a sweet and memorable dance with her father, and a twirl with her groom on their black and white dance floor – it was time for a dress change.
Nothing screams more iconic life of the party than a sleek and silky gown, adorned with a blinged out Mrs. Lucas belt to announce her new last name. Late night chocolate-tacos, an outpouring of tequila, and a bridal party that wouldn’t quit dancing in front of the couples disco ball and neon sign display made for a perfect ending to an epic dance party and wedding day.
